BCAPT has been a long time sponsor of the Science Fair Foundation of British Columbia (https://www.sciencefairs.ca/).
In 2024, there were 1120 students ranging from Gr 2-12 who participated in the BC & Yukon’s Regional Science Fair. The BC & Yukon’s Regional Science Fair has numerous scholarships and awards (https://www.sciencefairs.ca/participate/bc-yukon-science-fairs/#regionalsciencefair) that support students from all over BC. Your membership fees, in part, contribute to sponsoring the BC & Yukon’s Regional Science Fair’s Michael Crook’s Physics Prize.
The 2024 Michael Crook’s Physics Prize recipients are: Mila S, Peregrine P, Lily D, Anthony Z, Juliana H, Skyler R, Gavin E, Alexander A; Logan P, Evan P., Chakhei G., and Ethan H.
