BC Physics Teachers will have a special treat in February of 2011.
BC Association of Physics Teachers, UBC Department of Physics and Astronomy and SFU Department of Physics collaboratively organized a very special event: A three-day visit of the American Association of Physics Teachers President Elect, Prof. of Physics at the University of Oregon, Dr. David Sokoloff .
Dates: February 3-5, 2011 . During this time Prof. Sokoloff will give two colloquia (at UBC and at SFU) and will conduct a workshop for physics teachers. The registration is only $5.00 to cover printing costs. To become a BCAPT member and support other wonderful physics teaching PD events, you can become a member for an annual fee of only $15.00.
